New York Times best-selling author Sarah MacLean returns with a blazingly sexy, unapologetically feminist new series, Hell's Belles, beginning with a bold, bombshell of a heroine, able to dispose of a scoundrel - or seduce one - in a single night.

Sometimes the best gentleman for the job is a lady.

After years of living as London's brightest scandal, Lady Sesily Talbot has embraced the reputation and the freedom that comes with the title. No one looks twice when she lures a gentleman into the dark gardens beyond a Mayfair ballroom...and no one realises those trysts are not what they seem.

No one, that is, but Caleb Calhoun, who has spent years trying not to notice his best friend's beautiful, brash, brilliant sister. If you ask him, he's been a saint about it, considering the way she looks at him...and the way she talks to him...and the way she'd felt in his arms during their one ill-advised kiss.

Except someone has to keep Sesily from tumbling into trouble during her dangerous late-night escapades and maybe close proximity is exactly what Caleb needs to get this infuriating, outrageous woman out of his system. But now Caleb is the one in trouble, because he's fast realising that Sesily isn't for forgetting...she's forever. And forever isn't something he can risk.

The narrator, Mary Jane Wells, turns an OK story into something special. Worth a credit.

Great fun and a brilliant heroine. A really refreshing take on a historical. I'd definitely listen to (or read) the others in the series.

Didn't love this one, but battled through because I normally do like the Sarah MacLean books. found the narration hard to listen to at times, mainly because she genuinely whispered then would return to full volume and I found I missed a lot of the info because she would go too quiet to hear, but if you turned it up the rest of the dialogue was too loud. really annoying at times. felt I missed some important details at these times!

Hell’s Bells is a series of delicious fairy tales with unusual heroines and heroes, delightfully spicy encounters and happy endings where love and good prevail.
I love the narrator’s interpretation of them. I am sure I would not have got the same pleasure from them, had I read them on paper. Delightful!

The orator was excellent, EVERY Character distinquishable & alive. Most of these books are spoken by Justine EYRE, dreadful voice. she uses the same main character voice, which grates & every book sounds the same. So I won't be listening to this authors books where she orates. BUT WAITING WITH BATITED BREATHE FOR 'DUCHESS'

Very engaging
