False pirates are hunting him. Gods want to enslave him. A terrorist just wants to watch it all burn.

Welcome back to the Tower.

After training off-planet with a deceptive god and her vicious cat, Lucas is thrown off balance by how quickly things have changed upon his return. The Tower has merged several floors and become a series of islands among a vast ocean. Danger is everywhere now. Elemental storms, bio-engineered monsters, and creatures from the deep abyss roam the area.

Amongst this chaotic region stands the Golden Door Quest. An open competition offering a grand prize to whoever solves it first. For Lucas and his friends, it could mean a true escape from the Tower. But the journey will be a perilous one fraught with hidden threats. Because while the Tower climbers compete for the prize, gods and other forces scheme in the background for control.

Dive into a LitRPG apocalypse story with classes, skills, monster waves, and a progression system full of secrets and possibilities. Perfect for fans of Rogue Ascension, Defiance of the Fall, and The Primal Hunter!

The book is very good and I look forward to next one, but I will say it was a bit on the short side

Amazing book

I am not one for long reviews, but in a nutshell, MC is just indecisive and has seemingly no genuine interest in getting stronger, this just happens as part of his adventures. Even though having been dealt much better cards than other players, he often barely gets by in fighting, even against similar ranked opponents. Unfortunately, I got baited into this by being described as similar to Defiance of the Fall, Primal Hunter etc., it’s NOT, the MC is just so much weaker. I gave it a second chance, stayed disappointed, won’t go for book 3. What I want to point out though is the great performance of the narrator - top notch!

Not my cup of tee; TL;DR weak MC

Interesting plot, the Mc isn’t too weak and doesn’t cower and cry for half the book after killing people which saves a lot of boring, “oh no I’m such a horrible person”to “oh well it couldn’t be helped” character arcs, only problems are it feels a bit random in this one and it tended to lose me at some points. The Mc makes little to no tower climbing progression such as in the first book which is a bit annoying, but ig this is more for lvl grinding .

Ok but not as good as the first one

What can I say after the stupid ending of the first book it won't get any better just gets worse as it goes on the MC is getting more stupid as the book goes on and the entire reason for the tower climbing is pointless in my opinion if the more powerful beings can influence things so much what's the point of it all ?? And for last in the first books description it refers that these books are similar to the Primal Hunter don't be fooled it's not even close if anything it's an insult.

This book is totally pointless!!
