One human. One immortal. Will their alliance save the kingdom, or will their forbidden love be a death sentence?

When Cassia seeks out a Hesperine, he could end her mortal life in a heartbeat. But she has no fear of his magic or his fangs. She knows the real monster is the human king, her father. If he finds out she’s bargaining with his enemy, he’ll send her to the executioner.

As a Hesperine diplomat, Lio must negotiate with mortals who hate him. Cassia is different, but politics aren't why she captivates the gentle immortal. He wants more than her blood, and if he can’t resist the temptation, he’ll provoke the war he's trying to prevent.

Slow-burn, steamy romance meets classic fantasy worldbuilding in the Blood Grace series.

Great story so far but hearing female narrator slow voice reading and hearing her reflux and hunger noises is a turn off . Didn’t she notice?

After a slow yet curious start this book is full of intrigue, charm, adventure and warmth. Both main characters are intelligently created and their interactions a fantasy, romance reader’s treat. Highly recommend!

This story is such a treat. I'm not even finished with the book but felt compelled to leave a review. I've read lots of romantasy books and this was like a breath of fresh air. Definitely a slow burn but not in an annoying way. I tend to shy away from books with covers featuring the characters and prefer something more subtle but I'm glad I looked past that with this story. I'll definitely be buying the rest of the series.
