Some disasters can only be avoided if you know they’re coming....

On Karell, you are either blessed by the gods, granted a unique power and the ability to gain experience and levels, or you are forgotten. Micah Silver was a boy picked for greatness. Chosen by the gods to bear a mythic power, he longed to take his place amongst the heroes and legends he grew up reading about.

Unfortunately, his primary blessing only allows him to travel into the past by sacrificing his class, wealth, and levels - a psychological burden that Micah is reluctant to shoulder. But, even if Micah is unwilling, fate has a way of forcing you to face your destiny...and running away can cost you everything.

Over and over again...

Experience the start of a time-looping LitRPG series where a reluctant hero is forced to fight against an impossible catastrophe. Using his talents for enchanting items and summoning creatures, he must retrace his steps and grow stronger in a potentially futile effort to prevent tragedy and protect his family.

A very enjoyable book. I love the status page aspect! and the blessings in it were a very original idea but mana on the other hand wasn't original but diverted. As much as it was the same thing a lot of the time it kept me coming back and I couldn't stop listening to it! I recommend it to people who are interested in RPG games.

This story has an interesting premise but was a bit too slow for me for a lot of the story, although I liked the main characters well enough and some of the interactions were done very well. However this picked up at the end so much Im getting the next book as the audio isn't availble yet. Narration by Hellegers was done very well as has his other work I have came across so no issues there. As this is the first in series giving this one a bit of latitude and calling it 4 stars overall.
I requested this audio and have decided to leave my thoughts for everyone.

Interesting but bit slow

I enjoyed the concept of the story but found the narration difficult to follow. I couldn't always tell there was a new chapter and I was constantly having to go back to listen again. I also found the narrator was sometimes speaking too fast.
Will not stop me from listening to other books in the series.

Enjoyable story

Took me a little while to get my head around the magic system and wasn’t sure I was going to gel with the fact the MC’s a teenager, but once I got into it, I didn’t want to put it down!
Really great story and I can’t wait to hear more!
Great narration too, with great character voices and pacing that perfectly suits the story!
This is my honest opinion on a free review copy.
