Angelica Turner’s life is in danger. If she wants to survive, she’ll have to turn to a man with violence in his eyes and death in his soul. A man she desires, yet desperately needs to resist if she doesn’t want her shattered heart again.

Hardened mercenary Colton Duchaine has wanted Angie since he first laid eyes on her, but he knows he’s the wrong kind of man for an innocent woman like her. His life is too dangerous, too unpredictable. He can never settle down.

But when someone wants Angie silenced, Colt will do whatever it takes to keep her alive. And when she’s safe, he’ll get out of her life for good.

Turns out that walking away is easier said than done. Angie is his - and Colt will stop at nothing to claim her for his own.

Colt and Angie’s story was sweet, suspenseful and swoon worthy. Tor Thom as Colt was dreamy and Mackenzie Cartwright as Angie was superb.

Slow burn, lots of relationship building, not a lot of action.

This didn't seem like it should have been a Bandit book and would fit better as a HOT book. Way too slow and tame for what I think the Bandit series should be. We met Angie in Book 1 but this book was pretty standalone.
The same thing seems to be happening in the 3 books of this series (towards the end) - I hate that and I hope it won't continue in every book.

I didn't really care for Angie. She was made to sound independent but to me, she just came off as a B.

The narration by Mackenzie Cartwright and Tor Thom was excellent (5 stars)

Colt and Angie just made my day, they have an amazing book that is full of suspense and twists and turns that I am completely and utterly in love with. The characters, the side characters all of this adds up to a book that is unmissable and not one to be paused. Fantastic book and narration

I am loving this series! Colt and Angie's story had me hooked from the beginning, I've been waiting for them to get their HEA ever since their first meeting in book 1. Full of suspense and edge of your seat action, it was hard to stop listening to this book, unfortunately real life did need my attention sometimes! Lynn Raye Harris always delivers and Black Out is another fine example of her fantastic writing talent. She is, and has been for many years, an auto buy author for me. I cannot wait to get my hands on her next audiobook!!

Another hit!
