Özet
A Marine doesnt leave anyone behind. Not even when hes ordered to. Sergeant Pete Hoffen is a month from the end of his enlistment when a surface-to-air missile tears his transport apart over the besieged city of Manaus. Half his squad is gone before they hit the ground. The rest are pinned down and bleeding. The pilot is missing somewhere behind enemy lines and Command has two orders for him: get to the extraction zone and keep the collateral damage to a minimum. Big Pete manages the first one. Then he jumps out of the transport. An armored Marine is a terrifying thing. Out of his armor hes just a big man with cracked ribs, a stubborn streak and no plan. Getting home is going to take help from the last person he expected and a trip through the storm sewers of Manaus that neither of them will ever forget. Big Pete is a 13,000-word novella set in the Privateer Tales universe. It tells the story of how Liam Hoffens parents, Pete and Silver, met in the Great Amazonian War. Its Book 4 in the series but can be read out of turn without spoiling anything that comes before.©2014 Fickle Dragon Publishing (P)2016 Fickle Dragon Publishing Adventure Genre Fiction Kurgu Science Fiction War & Military Asker Askeri

This is a great background story about Pete and how he met Silver.

It was well read and the only bad thing is that it is a short story, but it fits in well with the Privateer Tales serries.

Great background story
