Quick match....
Big, burly woodworker Angus Grant is an ex-Navy SEAL and second in command on the Rescue Bears crew. He’s eager to settle down, so when he finally gets a perfect match on the shifter-human dating site started by one of the crew, he can’t wait to contact her.
Nerdy, introverted bookkeeper Poppy Robins would like to find a man, but when she signs up on the dating site, she doesn’t expect to get an almost-instant text from a bear shifter saying she’s his mate. Still, she’s ready for a change - and since she just discovered she might be working for the mob, getting out of town sounds like a good idea.
Slow burn....
Poppy calls in sick, packs up her pet parrot Malcolm, and heads for Fate Mountain. She quickly learns that Angus is sweet, sexy, and romantic. Falling for him is easy - but how can she share her job worries when she’s not even sure what’s going on?
Angus knows curvy, bespectacled Poppy belongs with him. But he's reluctant to go too far with a human woman who might not be willing to commit.
Hot trouble.
When Poppy disappears on his alpha Levi’s wedding day, Angus has to do the impossible. Can he track his mate and rescue her from whatever trouble she’s in, make it back for the wedding...and still find time to practice his best-man speech?
