Jake Kimball never could have known what treasures awaited him when he accepted a temporary position as the potter of Niederbipp. In only a couple of months, his entire life has changed from a rootless young adult to a man with understanding, vision, and a bright future, thanks to the good people of Niederbipp and his friend, Amy Eckstein. After listening to the people of Niederbipp remember his predecessor, Isaac, and then discovering the old man's secrets within the pages of his own journal, Jake prepares himself to fill the old man's shoes and become the man he has the potential of becoming.
Join Jake and Amy in this third and final book of the Niederbipp Trilogy as they take to heart the invaluable lessons Isaac shared with them through the lives and experiences of others, and prepare themselves to become true Niederbippians.
