At 46, I’m going through The Change....
In more ways than I’d ever imagined.

After Dean Thompson broke my heart 28 years ago,
I left my hometown and never looked back.
Now my adoptive parents are nearing their 80s,
And even though they’re shifters,
They need help more than they’d care to admit.
So I packed up my life and my hormonal teenage daughter
And finally headed home to Carlton.
Just as we were getting settled,
Mom accidentally started a fire at her chocolate shop.
And who showed up to put it out?
Friggin’ Dean.
He may have extinguished that flame,
But the second he took off his helmet,
He reignited one inside my soul.
I’d spent so long trying to forget that damn bear shifter,
But when he asked to catch up, I couldn’t resist,
Even though I knew it was bad news.
Now that I’m rekindling my relationship with Dean,
A truth is revealed about my past,
Forever changing the concept of life as I know it.
Hell, I thought menopause was a rollercoaster,
But buckle up, buttercup...it’s time for the ride of my life.
Steamy shifter love scenes and an HEA inside! No cheating or cliffhanger in this stand-alone romance. Listeners 18+.

Rebecca is a human with shifter adoptive parents, she used to date Dean years ago. When her parents health declines and they need help in their store, she ends up returning to town with her teenage daughter. After a fire in her parents shop she ends up seeing Dean again as he is one of the firefighters who helped with the fire.
He is still interested in being with Rebecca, he thought she was his mate when they were younger. Will Rebecca allow herself to give them a second chance.

This is the third book in the Shifter Nation: Fated Over Forty Series, a bear shifter romance. I like this series! Dean and Rebecca's second chance romance is fast paced, passionate, entertaining, and captivating. Dean is handsome, and protective. Rebecca is smart, strong, and independent. I liked Rebecca's teenage daughter Maddison. D.C. Cole did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it.
