Emmy-winning television host and stand-up comic Bobby Norfolk brings his storytelling abilities to these traditional folktales from Africa, the Carribbean, Japan, and the American South. From a story about a greedy puppy to the titular impatient baby hawk, Norfolk adapts each parable to highlight his sense of humor, and his impressive voice work adds color and inflection to these six tales. What could have been a simplistic or dry experience is instead enlivened by Norfolk, making Baby Hawk Learns to Fly a valuable collection of moral fables that will also keep children happily entertained.
