I immersive read this thanks to an ALC from Bluenose.

This book is full of love, hate & redemption.
The banter the cute nicknames everything between them was so sweet until the betrayal

He thought they had something special until she betrayed him & for that he wants to make her pay.

Savannahs dad was an absolute nightmare pure evil.

The audio narrated by Savannah Thomas & Liam Dicosimo who did a fantastic job portraying the characters. You really felt Savannahs anguish & guilt and Harley’s hate that wasn’t really hate, and how much he desperately wanted her.

Overall the book was really good. I was hooked from the first couple of chapters. I listened to it in one sitting as I couldn’t stop it was really good.

So, I just rode one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. I went in completely blind and holy crap, I was not ready. Did I have an absolute blast though? Hell yeah. Am I still thinking about this story? Absolutely.

Liam and Savannah were amazing in this! They truly brought this story to life through their narration. You could really feel the chemistry between Sav and Harley through them.

What a fun ride!

Just when I needed a good romantic suspense, S Wilson delivers. This is a fabulous second chance dark romance and I was right there for it. Savannah and Harley new each other in high school, dated briefly until she did the unforgivable. Now at the same college, the two meet and he is determined to make her pay. His feelings never changed, but his anger led to the two being together, and she never pushed him away. But things changed when she was attacked. Secrets are slowly released and now all bets are off. The only thing is her danger is not only for her. If she doesn't do what she is told, everyone could be hurt. This ensemble of friends is so good, I can't get enough. Each book brings a new couple with baggage, and these two have a lot of their own. It's sweet and salty as the years go on, but the feelings truly just get stronger. The only question is will they ever get to be together? So good, I couldn't stop listening!

Savannah Thomas and Liam DiCosio team up to bring this alive in duet narration! Thomas is Savannah, and she is sweet and strong, full of secrets and each nuance brings a feeling. DiCosimo is Harley, hurt and vindictive, jealous and passionate he is bringing the alpha protective vibe no matter her day. And all the secondary characters come in with the perfect voices. I loved this listen!
