In today's Brain Squeeze episode, ya girl is sick...but I had to stop on the pod to brag about my new Black Governor! Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley made history as the first Black Governor of Wisconsin as he defeated Republican Tom Tiffany in the midterms. This adds on to the historic night of firsts for these midterms, as a blue wave went over America on election night. I got the opportunity to broadcast live from David Crowley's watch party on behalf of The Root for "The People's Election Night," alongside Angela Rye, Native Land Pod, The Breakfast Club, and more! The experience was incredible, but all this running around these last few weeks finally caught up to me. Let's get into these juicy thoughts!
