Welcome to another GYM Session, with Fleur East and Charlie Copsey.
A launch to celebrate. New challenges to take on. And a reminder of the difference it makes when women show up for each other.
In this GYM Session, join Fleur and Charlie back in the mobile studio as they catch up on life since launching Grow Your Movement. They share how an intimate launch dinner became an emotional conversation about friendship, feeling lost and finding people in your corner, even when everything looks sorted from the outside.
They revisit the lessons from their conversation with Tabby Stoecker, from facing fear to choosing community over competition. Charlie also shares what happened when someone who kept saying “I’m not a runner” took on a 10K along an airport runway, surrounded by thousands of other women. Expect honest reflections on challenging the labels we give ourselves, staying consistent and celebrating what our bodies can do.
Fleur reflects on interviewing Cynthia Erivo about Prima Facie, the conversations it sparked around women’s safety and being heard, and why spaces where women can speak openly matter.
Plus, they answer two questions from the GYM community: how to find time for yourself as a new mum, and how to approach leaving a steady job for freelance work. They draw on their own experiences of asking for help, building a support network and balancing the courage to make a change with the realities of everyday life.
