Scripture — Jeremiah 33:6 (BSB): “Nevertheless, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal its people and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.” Prayer Themes: Physical Healing • Recovery • Hope If you are listening through physical pain, illness or exhaustion, this midday prayer is for you. Welcome to this compassionate Christian healing prayer for the sick with Reverend Ben Cooper of DailyPrayer.uk, London, England. Jeremiah speaks of God’s promise to restore Jerusalem and His people. We remember the restoring heart of the God of Israel and turn to Jesus Christ, who showed extraordinary compassion towards those suffering in their bodies. Today we lift up South Africa, France, Israel, Uganda, Hong Kong, Belgium, Jamaica and Romania. Lord Jesus Christ, compassionate Saviour, we come before You with faith, humility and hope. We bring every person whose body is weakened by disease, infection, injury, disability or persistent pain. Stretch out Your merciful hand, Lord. We ask for physical healing, renewed strength, relief from suffering and recovery after surgery or treatment. Heavenly Father, guide doctors, nurses, surgeons, therapists and carers. Give wisdom where diagnoses remain uncertain and compassion where illness has continued for years. Holy Spirit, draw near to those waiting in hospital corridors, receiving difficult news or enduring another sleepless night. Strengthen families who are exhausted by caring responsibilities. Raise up communities that will provide meals, transport, friendship and practical assistance. Protect those who remain unwell from shame or the suggestion that they lack faith. Our hope rests in Jesus Christ, crucified and risen. We trust Your compassion while receiving medical care with gratitude. Bring healing where it is possible and sustaining grace through every uncertainty. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos. Que Deus te abençoe. Que Dios te bendiga. שלום וברכה — Shalom u’vracha.
