Bill W First Rosary Hall Anniversary Speakers in this Order Ethel Macy Bill Dotson Bill Wilson Sister Ignatia Bill Begins the Talk with a Story "A few years back a drunk out on the deserts of Utah wrote down to New York and had a book sent out to him. We heard nothing more for a long time when suddenly the New York office began to get very large contributions from a little AA group, a small cluster in a place called Moab, Utah. "Bill W Tells How AA #3 Got Sober with Bill Dotson sitting next to him So, Dr Bob and I, the next day, were looking into the face of our beloved friend, Bill, the first man on the bed. And Bill said, "But my case is too serious.I think you folks have got something. But I don't believe it was, is for me. I got religion. I got faith, but I don't think God has got any faith for me.I don't think this thing can work. It's nice to talk to you. Won't you come back and talk to me some more? "Well, I've just been going over that episode with Bill, and he tells how he mulled this over in his mind. And still it suddenly occurred to him, well, of course, these fellas have got something besides mere sobriety. I can see it.I can feel it. They got relief. If they can get it, maybe I can get it if I'll pay the price. And Bill, all alone by himself in that hospital room, made a decision he would pay the price, whatever price in humility it would mean. And right away he began to feel a relief." This is a one of a kind Bill W Recording©2026 Thomas Laperriere (P)2026 Thomas Laperriere
