Informative, interesting and I used it in my essays. It took me a while to get into it but after a few chapters I couldn’t stop listening to it.

I’m a counsellor and found this book to be excellent. Ive also now bought the hard copy. Will refer to again I’m sure. Narration was great and made the text easy to follow which isn’t always the case with non-fiction narrators reading information they are not familiar with. Thoroughly recommend to any counsellor/therapist who wants to deepen and develop their work relationally with clients.

I was delighted to find that this book (which has long been my favourite book on psychotherapy) is available as an audiobook. Listening to the audio has allowed me to revisit this book without taking up any extra time (because I have been able to listen via my phone while engaging in daily tasks like housework, exercising etc). Really useful and always interesting.
