Anna Cole grew up poor, but her mother's love made her feel rich every day. Then her mother died, and Anna was sent to a care home. First Amanda Prowse book but not the last, probably first of many. The second book Theo now in my library too. Love Amanda’s narration skills she has a wonderful voice.

Such a lovely book. Really sad at times but thoroughly enjoyable. I love all Amanda Prowse’s books but I think I’ve enjoyed this one the best.
