For Andrew Murray, prayer was not separate from the rest of the Christian life. It was rooted in humility, surrender, faith, and dependence on God.

With more than 20 hours of listening, this collection brings together six of Murray’s works on prayer and Christian life, exploring humility, surrender, intercession, faith, healing, and what it means to depend more fully on God.

Included in this collection:

Humility
Murray examines pride, selflessness, and why he believed humility lies at the heart of Christian life.

Absolute Surrender
A call to place every part of life under the will and direction of God.

The Ministry of Intercession
Murray explores prayer on behalf of others and the responsibility he believed Christians have to intercede faithfully.

The Power of the Blood of Jesus
A reflection on Christ’s sacrifice, redemption, and the spiritual confidence Murray believed Christians could find through faith in Jesus.

Lord, Teach Us to Pray
Drawing from Jesus’ teaching on prayer, Murray considers how Christians can develop a more thoughtful and consistent prayer life.

Divine Healing
Murray presents his views on faith, prayer, healing, and dependence on God during sickness and suffering.

Taken together, these works show how closely Murray connected prayer with surrender, humility, faith, service to others, and everyday Christian living.

Whether prayer is new to you or has been part of your life for years, Murray’s writing offers encouragement for growing in faith and drawing closer to God.

Six works on prayer, surrender, faith, and the Christian life, together in one collection.

I used to feel lost when I prayed, like I was just saying words. This book made it so real for me. The author breaks it down in such a simple way—it’s like he’s talking right to you. The part about surrender hit me the hardest; it made me realize I wasn’t fully trusting God. Now, I pray differently, with more purpose, and I’ve even started praying for others regularly. If you’re looking to feel closer to God and really understand what prayer can do, you’ve gotta listen to this.

It’s practical and heartfelt.

Murray’s teachings are timeless and easy to understand, offering practical wisdom on topics like humility, surrender, and intercession. I thought it was a little long and monotonous in narration. Bur the book does a good job at talking about the power of prayer, faith, and trust in God.

This collection is an interesting listen for any Christian wishing to grow in spirituality. All of the books in the series speak to one particular aspect of prayer. But I found especially powerful the way Murray points to the importance of intercession and the transformative power of prayer in every realm of life. He has timeless wisdom that gives introspective Christians a well-rounded starting point. Having several of Murray's works combined into this collection delivers a ton of value.
