I enjoyed this book. I cannot wait for the next one. left me on a cliff hanger.

Lucy is such an endearing FMC and I want to be her bestie! She’s quirky, cute and oh so kind!

Cal is most definitely the overprotective and possessive grumpy to her sunshine. While they share some iconic moments, he has some redeeming to do in book two!

The jaw-dropping ending will have you needing to pick up the next book immediately.

Charlotte is a new-to-me narrator but I would absolutely listen to her again. She captures Lucy’s youthfulness and quirkiness perfectly, and I really like her male voice too.

I want to be besties with Lucy!

I find this quite hard to decide if I’m on a 3 or 4 star rating as I loved Lucy. Even after everything she is so optimistic and bright but Cal was awful. Ok awful may be a bit strong as he did have some good qualities but he better do some serious grovelling in book 2. Solid narration on this one. Both narrators were easy to listen to.
