New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands returns with the unforgettable story of a reluctant bride and groom who soon find common ground in the bedroom . . .

Bastard daughter to the king, Rosamunde was raised in a convent and wholly prepared to take the veil . . . until King Henry declared she would wed Aric, one of his most valiant knights. Suddenly she found herself promising to love, honor, and obey.

Rosamunde's education had not covered a wedding night, but the handsome warrior she was now bound to seemed intent on giving her a lesson in the art of pleasure. In no time, Aric was certain she would surrender to the irresistible passion he promised.

And while Rosamunde's spirited nature often put her at odds with her new husband, his mastery in seduction was quickly melting her resolve—and capturing her heart.

good solid romance story than doesn't go over the top with romance mush, but has a lot of good humor. the lead characters are engaging and the performance is good so that you forget that all the voices are done by the same performer.

good fun !

Lovely clear enunciation of Narrator, English accent, good pace, nice balance between emotive and robotic. Another great love story. Enjoyed references to animals. Historically fairly accurate. Nice gentle sort.

Clear English voice of Narrator.

Very funny in places and if you try this book hopefully you will enjoy it as I did. No spoilers you will have to listen to the book.

The story was really good, another imaginative and well fleshed out tale from Ms Sands. The performance was okay; some words were incomprehensible though which slightly annoyed me, but it was a solid effort from the artist anyway.

Great story, okay performance
