A mate is forever. Until they reject you….

Luna is sick of being an outcast. As the illegitimate daughter of a high-ranking official and her mother gone, she’s never felt wanted.

Finding her fated mate was supposed to change everything. She’s known for six years that she and Marnet are mates, and tonight at the MoonMate ceremony, it’s time for him to stop acting like a playboy alpha and claim her as his.

Only he does the exact opposite and humiliates her publicly with his brutal rejection. Then Luna is taken by Remus, another alpha whose clan launches a surprise attack during the ceremony. He’s captured all the other alphas except one—Marnet.

Now Luna has a choice. Lead the enemy to Marnet or protect her mate. Remus treats her better than Marnet ever did, but Luna is convinced Remus is only using her to get what he wants. Marnet is still her mate.

Although it wouldn’t be the first time she’s been wrong about love….

I really enjoyed this book, I was hooked in the first couple of pages and couldn't put it down, there were some really good plot twists. I loved Luna, and felt bad for her situation, I can't wait to read the next book to find out what it her future.

Having read this book on kindle I was glad to get a copy on audiobook.
The story is good, characters are well designed and good world building. I'm always a fan of enemies to lovers paranormal romance and wasn't disappointed by the story, even if it is left on a cliff hanger. Yhe narrator took a little bit of listening to get use to but I did get use to her voice and in the end was quite happy with this overall audiobook.

A good shifter romance
