An entertaining story but with a few issues and poor narration. I liked the ideas and the battles work well but I found the characters thin. The narration by Emily Beresford was quite poor, her delivery felt rushed and lacking in tension and her accents were average. I would like to read more just to see what happens but i am unlikely to buy more audios.

Excellent tale as always. Spoilt for me by the narrators voice. Just did not match for me sadly

Spoilt by narration

The story is weak, but ok. However, the narrator really put me off. The terrible British accents and the pitch of the voice made me drop this 75% way through. I don’t ever write reviews and usually score most books 5 stars, but this was so poor that I figured I’d share my opinion.

One of the worst books I’ve listened to
