What happens when the horse stuntman meets the nurse consultant on the set of a Western television series? She’s running from the past…he’s running to her.

Stuntman Aaron Decker has his hands full raising his daughter, running his ranch, and jumping horses for a living. The new job on the set of a Western has its perks; it’s close to home and offers him a sizable paycheck. But what he doesn’t expect is to fall hard for nurse consultant Jenna Wilder.

Putting a violent marriage behind her, Jenna Wilder is raising her son, writing scripts, and has sworn off ever falling in love again. So why can’t she keep her mind off the soft-spoken stuntman? With Aaron, she dreams of a life she thought wasn’t possible.

But when Jenna’s past returns, Aaron must gain her trust to free her from the grips of her ex-husband’s vengeance. And no matter the risk, he will stop at nothing to protect the woman who holds his heart.

i thoroughly enjoyed this book, but I must say this narrator could read me the telephone directory and I'd love listening to him.

Enjoyable

Very good - lots of suspense and romance. This is the first book I’Ve listened to by this author and narrator and I certainly want to listen to another one. Would like to know who the “inside” person was though! I had a number of suspects in mind!

Really enjoyed this book

The narrator is so monotone and monotonous that I struggled to follow the story. Gave up after first 10 mins. Shame as the plot sounds good

The narrator is awful
