Who will survive in the fourth and final book in the best-selling Lone Survivor saga?
After a hellish journey on the Appalachian Trail, Landon Gray reunites with his wife Sara, only to learn of her infidelity. But that’s only the beginning of their troubles.
Although all is calm in the coastal community of Castine, Maine, death is at their doorstep. As tragedy strikes close to home, and Mick Bennington manages to turn the tables on them, the small town they worked so hard to defend is now on the verge of collapse.
Without the support of militia and residents turning on one another, the survivors have no choice but to leave. But leaving isn’t easy when the family is divided and danger lurks around every corner.
Will the Grays pull together before it’s too late, or will Castine fall into the hands of a tyrant?
All That Rises is the fourth and final book in Lone Survivor, a post-apocalyptic EMP thriller series that follows a group of survivors as they fight to stay alive after an EMP destroys the nation's power supply.

Miles Meili's narration is spot on, connecting the listeners with the characters, modifying his tone, and emulating intensity in the scenes. He literally brings the book to life.
The combination of a phenomenal plot, incredible characters, and outstanding narration makes Lone Survivor standout in the genre. The conclusion is brilliantly written, leaving you feeling satisfied. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and highly recommend it to all EMP enthusiasts. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Excellent Conclusion

The residents take their feet off the pedal once the bullies are taken down, and move back to their own homes. They know Mick will be back for revenge so it doesn't make sense that they try to protect individual homes instead of staying in their collective strongholds. When the usual fighting ensues, Landon suddenly becomes a man of action putting his life unnecessarily in danger when he doesn't have the skills to defend himself. Then there's the weird 'Peter Pan Tree House Gang' who apparently were hidden from everyone all this time, despite the fact the militia would have definitely found and dealt with them already. Two people being captured then escaping from a huge bunch of tree people with guns, is not likely.
Landon returns home to find his wife in the arms of another man. He is surprisingly nonchalant about his wife cheating on him. Then we find out what Landon's been up to and it all makes sense. However their decision to stay together does not, especially as his wife and love interest make it clear they are both in love and want to stay together. I don't think that would have ended in a HEA no matter how the author tries to force the relationship.
Overall, I did not enjoy this series. I found the books very unrealistic, with shallow and overexaggerated characters.
Weird ending
