Taylor Jefferies fled the Hollywood spotlight and found herself helping the citizens of the small town of Keeneston. It was good to see another happy Keeneston couple bind their lives together. I love the sweet gentleman who are raised in this Southern town and the way they support and protect their women. Not one of them are so insecure as to deny their ladies a life and ambition of her own.
The trip to Cy's farm was sweet but the scene on the beech seemed a little forced.
Nevertheless, this was a sweet little addition to the Bluegrass series.
Eric G Dove did a great job as always making the now familiar characters come alive again.

I missed this when it was originally released, but it is fantastic to get Trey and Taylor's story and it ties so beautifully to Si and Gemma's story too. I really enjoyed going back to when the current generation were kids, the Lily sister's still ran the cafe...and the betting was just as competitive! Reminiscing was heartwarming and makes you realise just how much has happened over the last ten years! Trey and Taylor almost grow up as we read this book, it takes us from their teen years into their mid twenties and we see them thrive both as individuals and as a couple. A fantastic short which layers into the series perfectly, I listened to this on Audible.

Kathleen Brooks does it again. Another fantastic story.

I love Trey and Taylor from earlier Bluegrass novels. This novella was prefect for them. Explains them and their lives together. I loved it.

I would recommend this series. xoxo
