This fast-paced horror thriller from an award-winning author pulls you through more twists than the secret tunnels of Gibraltar.
When Petra gets an invitation from an old school friend to make up a foursome on a sunshine break to the Mediterranean, she grasps it. Anything to escape the messy break-up that’s left her questioning her whole life at age 25.
But the sun doesn’t shine inside the Rock of Gibraltar.
A local couple offers them a late-night tour of the tunnels, but the adventure turns sour when they witness a crime and must run for their lives. Quickly divided and lost, confusion reigns and conflicts rise as the dark labyrinth holds them hostage, death lurking at every turn.
As her friends disappear, the question for Petra isn’t who can help, but who can she trust, and who’s the real prey?
This fast-paced modern Gothic horror takes an established genre and warps it to a point where the final twist will have listeners stunned, shaken, and hungrily listening again to spot the clues they missed.
©2019 Simeon Courtie (P)2020 Simeon CourtieWithout giving away any spoilers - this tale is full of dark twists and turns (literally) that have you on the edge of your seat during each and every chapter.
I was incredibly impressed by the constant hints throughout the book - I cannot wait to listen to it again and see what other things I pick up on.
Also.. the ending. FANTASTIC.
What a performance!
