Dylann Crush
The first book in an irresistibly charming contemporary Western series from debut author Dylann Crush.
Contemporary cowboy: Holiday, Texas is known far and wide as the most celebratory town south of the Mason-Dixon - and no shindig is complete without one of its founding members. It's a shame the last remaining Holiday is a city slicker, but what's that old saying about putting lipstick on a pig?
Beckett has no intention of being charmed by some crazy Texas town, but the minute he lays eyes on his grandfather's old honky tonk - and Charlie, the beautiful cowgirl who runs it - he finds himself wishing maybe things could be different. Life's gentler in Holiday. Slower. More real than anything he's ever known. And when he looks in Charlie's eyes, Beckett just may finally know what it's like to truly belong.

The pig show, the mud baths, the possessive brothers, the nosier than believable town, the people turning up at the truck and her house when privacy is just ignored? the bully of a father. The whole thing was just too much over the top.
Afraid I am going to give up on this one.
All very juvenile
