In 2048, Sam Bixler is a brilliant scientist working for Telos, the world's most powerful corporation. Little does she know that a shocking secret about a deadly virus lurks within Telos, setting her on a thrilling and dangerous journey.

Telos’s famed Project Alethea initiative treated countless Cato virus patients, including Sam's mother, Joan. Sam must question everything after evidence emerges that Telos may have lied about her mother's death, leaving room for the possibility that Joan might still be alive. Determined to unravel the truth, Sam returns to her hometown in the Hudson Valley, only to discover that her father, Clint, is missing. In her quest for answers, she crosses paths with the Resistance movement, her father's allies in the fight against Telos, as they risk everything to expose the dark side of Project Alethea.

Now, Sam faces a pivotal choice: Spy within her own company and infiltrate the Project Alethea Team for the Resistance or keep her comfortable life within Telos’s ecosystem.

Brace yourself for an immersive adventure, set in a chilling, futuristic New York City. Will the quest for truth be worth Sam risking her own life and the lives of her loved ones?

Alethea is written by Katrina Day and Philomena Polefrone and directed, edited, and scored by Mark Henry Phillips (Serial, Homecoming).

Great story, execution and script. I really enjoyed this. I could picture in my mind eye everything. this was free in my subscription but if I'd known it was going to be this good it would Def be worth a credit.

only irritating thing for me was the girlfriends ( Lucy) accent. but that's just me.

saw this had great reviews and gave it a go.

Loved the production of this, good storyline and somewhat relevant in today’s world. A good unusual listen

Great but unusual listen

I enjoyed the experience of this audiobook and it was somewhat like listening to a movie without the visuals. I enjoyed the different characters which makes a change from a single narrator having to attempt multiple characters.

The audio was a bit annoying at the radio parts, with some much noise and static it was actually hard to hear what was being said.

The storyline was pretty decent. If felt this was the first of a two part story as there was a lot still unresolved. We'll see.

Enjoyable and something different.

The plot was simple and the main character was a bit annoying sometimes, but loved the cast of voice actors and the background sounds.

Simple and fun for a long drive

Wasnt sure if i would like it and I doubt i would have listened to it if it wasnt free, But it was a good book the only thing i didnt like was the long bits of silence (well background music) between chapters.

Good book for a free one enjoyable
