Bernard Cornwell, the data-redactor-tag=""em"">New York Times bestselling “reigning king of historical fiction"" (data-redactor-tag=""em"">USA Today), tackles his most thrilling, rich, and enthralling subject yet—the heroic tale of data-redactor-tag=""em"">Agincourt. The epic battle immortalized by William Shakespeare in his classic data-redactor-tag=""em"">Henry V is the background for this breathtaking tale of heroism, love, devotion, and duty from the legendary author of the Richard Sharpe novels and the Saxon Tales. This extraordinary adventure will captivate from page one, proving once again and most powerfully, as author Lee Child attests, that “nobody in the world does this stuff better than Cornwell.""

Good story as every from Mr Cronwell and well read by Mr Keating.
But why put music in when it had nothing to do while the mood of the book. And not helpful when it scares the life out of you. That spoilt this book for me.

Good story but why the music!

As ever an excellent story from Bernard Cornwell. As others have said, the narrator is not the best and very limited with his character voices. My biggest gripe is about the music played from time to time presumably for dramatic effect. What on earth was the producer thinking about? It is loud and inappropriate and contributes nothing. It serves only as an annoying distraction. I recommend the author and the entertaining story but otherwise I am not impressed with this recording.

Great story but narrator and music not so much…

As always I pleasure to listen to a Bernard Cornwell book. Hook was a great character and there were many other really good characters throughout. I love historical novels based on fact as this was yet another of the same

The performance was great however the V/O artist doesn't quite give a convincing performance as a young man, however every other voice is excellent.

Excellent
