There’s a traitor in the pack… Who can you trust? The extraordinary final instalment of the Wolf Pack series.
June, 1943. In Lyon, the capital of the French resistance, a secret meeting is held under orders from General de Gaulle. The objective is to unite all resistance factions. The future of France is on the line.

But when the meeting is raided by the Gestapo under Klaus Barbie, the 'Butcher of Lyon', the plan disintegrates and the leaders are captured. The movement has been betrayed. There is a traitor in Lyon.

British undercover agents Jack Miller and Sophia von Naundorf are sent to France. They must find the informer and save the resistance. But the Gestapo is on the hunt. More traitors emerging from the shadows. The net is closing.

This unmissable espionage thriller from modern master Alex Gerlis is perfect for readers of Alan Furst, Charles Cumming and Rory Clements.©2023 Alex Gerlis (P)2023 W. F. Howes Ltd 20th Century Espionage Historical Historical Fiction Spies & Politics Suspense Thriller & Suspense Kurgu Korkutucu

This is the best of the trilogy. The story has many threads and they are all totally gripping.
I didn't want it to end!

The best!

A wonderful and, at times, devastating conclusion to the Wolf Pack Spies Trilogy. Alex Gerlis has a vivid and distinct voice, brought beautifully to life by the narrator, the excellent Duncan Galloway. I would recommend reading the trilogy in order to get the full weight of what happens. Rich in detail, thoughtfully plotted and beautifully written, this was a series I did not want to end.

A gripping conclusion

Another great book in this series, great characters and details to truly bring to life a very plausible story

Brilliant

Very well researched tale of French occupation and resistance without the usual rose tinted glasses.

Spies, Nazis and Treason

Excellent retelling of the horror of Lyon’s under the Gestapo & the “Butcher of Lyon’s” & the Collaborators. I have enjoyed these 3 books & the stories revolving around the main characters. Sorry it’s ended.

The horror of ordinary France under the Nazis rather than being Paris based.
