Dead Ever After marked the end of the Sookie Stackhouse novels - a series that garnered millions of fans and spawned the hit HBO television show True Blood. It also stoked a hunger that will never die…a hunger to know what happened next. With characters arranged alphabetically - from the Ancient Pythoness to Bethany Zanelli - best-selling author Charlaine Harris takes fans into the future of their favorite residents of Bon Temps and environs. You’ll learn how Michele and Jason’s marriage fared, what happened to Sookie’s cousin Hunter, and whether Tara and JB’s twins grew up to be solid citizens. This coda provides the answers to your lingering questions - including details of Sookie’s own happily-ever-after…

Is there anything you would change about this book?
I'm not sure it should even have been published, I don't feel it adds anything to the series of books whatsover. What will your next listen be?
I may consider some of the other book series by Charlaine Harris....Do you think After Dead needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, the last book limped along really and this book was unnecessary. Unfortunately I think Charlaine Harris' fore for the story and the characters dimmed a little towards the end.OK

Any additional comments?
Don't be mistaken into thinking this is another Sookie story, it is merely a list of a large number of characters from the books detailing what happens to them after the end of the series. If you're a fan you will certainly enjoy these tidbits of information though, I certainly did.Not quite a story

Johanna Parker does a great job, as she has with most of this series, but there is only some much she can do with a list of names and descriptions.
I was hoping for at least a mini story from the sookieverse, but alas no
it's bon temp telephone directory
