Abyssal Archive features the most comprehensive fan analysis of the Dark Souls mythos ever undertaken. We set out to pay tribute to Miyazaki's legendary game by crafting something that embodies the same care and attention to detail that makes Dark Souls itself such a peerless work of art.

A genuinely in depth academic analysis of one of the most influential games of all time by Lokey, combined with the calm, soothing voice of Vaatividya, makes this a must listen for any fan of Dark Souls or for those who are curious of the deeper lore. I really hope we get more books like this for other Fromsoft titles one day!

I absolutely loved this book. It gets a bit detailed and scientific in parts, but it is never too hard to follow. The depth of research Lokey put into this is amazing—so many elements of the game make way more sense now! He catches even the most minute details in the environment and characters that most players completely miss. Even when you don't fully agree with his theories, he provides insightful alternative viewpoints to consider regarding the lore, characters, and world. I feel like I understand Lordran so much better now and can't wait to jump back into the game to apply this new perspective.

Having VaatiVidya narrate makes the experience even smoother—his voice immerses you completely in the world.

Unlocks Lordran’s Deepest Secrets!
