A true story that shows the pit falls in the fostering system. Well written and shows that even the best foster carers sometimes can’t achieve what they would like but not for the want of trying

Great book, such a sad story for a young child to have such a bad start in life. Our care system is not not good enough.

This is the 2nd book from the throw away children series and intend on reading the rest. It shows how social services can let not only the children but the foster parents down too. Louise is a wonderful person as is her Husband, together they make a fantastic couple with hearts of gold. Looking forward to reading the rest. 5*'s all the way.

I enjoyed this book but felt it was dragged out a bit at times. Well read but I got a little bit bored at times.
