Discover the origins of Durzo Blint in this original novella set in the world of Brent Weeks’ New York Times best-selling Night Angel trilogy.

Gaelan Starfire is a farmer, happy to be a husband and a father; a careful, quiet, simple man. He’s also an immortal, peerless in the arts of war. Over the centuries, he’s worn many faces to hide his gift, but he is a man ill-fit for obscurity and all too often he’s become a hero, his very names passing into legend: Acaelus Thorne, Yric the Black, Hrothan Steelbender, Tal Drakkan, Rebus Nimble.

But when Gaelan must take a job hunting down the world’s finest assassins for the beautiful courtesan-and-crimelord Gwinvere Kirena, what he finds may destroy everything he’s ever believed in.

Performed by Dylan Lynch, David Coyne, Johann Dettweiler, Tim Getman, Karen Carbone, Michael Glenn, James Lewis, Joe Brack, Scott McCormick, Nanette Savard, Kimberly Gilbert, Mort Shelby, Richard Rohan, Ken Jackson, Terence Aselford.

I really like these graphic audio versions. remind me of the old radio shows. The music and sound effects just make it better somehow. This was a short story. I would have liked it to be longer.

excellent

I would have liked it to have been a bit longer . I kept thinking this would grow and grow and then just as it did , it was over ! Did he avenge his wife and child I don’t know ? I do love thirst graphic audio stories though , the cast are always so talented

I've over this little read since it first came out. I loved the original audible version too. I'd have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the sound department going a little overboard with the sound effects in the first 10 mins. fighting sounds with the fang fish when there was no fight and they've missed out some of my favourite lines from the book.. other than that a great listen to give some background to Durzo Blint

brilliant novella

I love full cast audiobooks but this one was too loud and "crowded". Loud music all the time made it hard to focus on.

Terrible performance
