A middle-of-the night phone call summons NYPD Detective Chiara Corelli and her partner, Detective P. J. Parker, to a politically sensitive murder scene. The victims - a US Senator, the pastor of a mega church, and a self-made music industry billionaire - appear to have been killed during a sex orgy.

Pressure is mounting to cover up the circumstances. But Corelli and Parker are enraged by the words scrawled in blood on a mirror, and their hearts are broken by what they find hidden in a closet. Now the partners vow to find the killer and expose the unsavory lives of these men while seeking justice for the real victims in this case - the children....

Just as good as the others, though it was a hard read. Brought a lot of emotions out of me. Would definitely recommend.

This is audiobook 3 in the 'Ciara Corelli Mysteries', I have enjoyed all three. This story has sadness and anger etched all over it, both from the 'good guys' and the reader because of the subject matter. I find that there is alot of 'detecting' which tracks down the perpetrator/s then the evidence is fairly 'pat' and 'bang to rights', which I don't mind. Corelli and PJ are developing as characters and friends, PJ particularly is coming into her own. Worth The Credit !
