Marcus Kincaid, earl of Ashford, has returned to England after a 10-year absence to find his younger sister embroiled in a potential scandal that could ruin her chance at marriage. His aunt has already called in reinforcements - The Paragon.

Vivian March, known simply as The Paragon, moves through every circle within Society, smoothing out scandals and stopping gossip in its tracks. Everyone in London knows that if she aligns herself with you, Society will forgive your sins. What they don't know is that she uses their secrets to cover her own jaded past.

But with every kiss and every touch that Marcus thrusts upon her, Vivian comes to believe life is infinitely more fun when you can be just a little bit wicked....

Not a wicked scene to be had here, a story of resilience, determination and reinvention in abundance.

Vivian is brave without being hardened considering her loss and confessions. Lovely gentle read.

I enjoyed listening to the story of Vivian and Marcus. It was great to see how a woman can reinvent herself and turns a bad experience into something so positive

Enjoyable

I can't say that it set me alight & that it was that enthralling, but it wasn't bad either.

It was mostly OK, however both the villains' motivations were skewy at best, especially the woman & her disdain is never really explained or properly addressed...

Not that wicked

The characters were beautifully performed by the narrator and the story moved along in a nice pace… I loved the story and am looking forward to the next in the series.
