I really enjoyed the story , it is well worth a listen, but as a Scot, I have to say the strangled vowels of the narrator’s attempt at a Scottish accent made my ears hurt!

I enjoyed it all Good from start to finish. Will definitely pick this author next time.

Audio was like easy reading good story

The main female character has an arrogant and opinionated attitude, absolutely unbearable. The characters are completely anachronistic. Inexplicable is the "torment" of the male character. The story flows with an unbearable slow pace. The only positive note is the Narrator.
