Özet

Would you kill to keep a secret?

That's the question haunting three people whose lives become inescapably intertwined by the secrets that define them and ultimately threaten to tear them apart.

A disgraced professor, a disenchanted psychologist, and a deceitful patient are about to learn more than they expected about each other and themselves. Will their relationships survive their secrets? Will they? Everyone has secrets.

Some are just darker than others.

And some, well, they're worth killing to keep.

This is a very long book, that could certainly use some editorial pruning to keep the story pace up. I am sure that some people will love this book, but I found it quite hard going to get to the end. The main issue for me was that there were no characters that I felt any empathy with, so I really found it difficult to actually get excited about what happened to them.

There is no doubt that the story line contains a lot of twists and turns and that unexpected things happen which turn the plot around, but I'm afraid that I just found it all too far-fetched and there were some annoying plot holes as well. But I suppose in its favour I did listen to the end

The narration was well done, without being outstanding, a solid workmanlike job.

Unfortunately not for me and I would be reluctant to read/listen to anything else by this author.

Not for me and it was too long
