Ashe is in trouble with a capital T.

As merchandise heading to an intergalactic auction, Ashe’s future looks grim. So when a too-sexy-for-his-own-good alien outlaw solicits her help to break them out of lockup, she jumps on the chance. Ashe only needs to survive long enough with the known criminal to get her end of the bargain: freedom. She trusts the clawed and fanged Tallean warrior to keep her safe, but who will keep her safe from him?

A Tallean mercenary claims what he wants, and he wants her!

As captain of an infamous mercenary vessel, Zeylum carefully crafts his dastardly reputation with crass words and a brutish exterior. But the little human triggers his need to own and protect, and Zey finds himself bonded to the one female he promised to let free.

Will Ashe look past his rough facade and fall for the male beneath? Because now that he’s had a taste of his mate, he will never let her go!

Feisty heroine, growly mercenary, and lots of action ahead. HEA guaranteed!

Ashe finds herself in dire straits when she is enslaved by aliens and locked up on a transportation ship heading for auction.  The guards are starting to get handsy and she will eventually have to fend them off, despite the fact that humans are seen as high value and are not to be tarnished.   Ashe sees her chance to escape when she spots the huge alien mercenary.  If anyone could get her off this ship it would be him.

They make a pact and escape together, but Ashe is left vulnerable in the hands of the outlaw.  This planet is harsh and full of danger.  Simply stepping in the wrong direction could mean entering the realm of a monster looking for a free meal.  Not only does Ashe have to rely on Zeylum to keep her safe, she somehow has to find her way to a safe haven and only he knows how to get her there.

This is a classic case of forced proximity on an unforgiving alien planet.  Trust is everything....but it comes with a tall drink of water.

Ashe has been captured by the Dominion and finds herself in a cell with Zeylum, a Tallean mercenary. When she strikes a deal to help Zeylum escape she had no idea how much her life would change with the adventure that she was about to go on. Brilliantly narrated and jam-packed with drama and action and a touch of steam, you can't fail to be captivated by Ashe and Zeylum as they navigate their relationship and those around them. I look forward to the next in the series.

I really enjoyed the book, the characters were fun as was the story but I liked the kidnapping aspect of it as it made it more interesting and the way the author added the alien elements, like the over grown insects and other alien aspects. The narrator was excellent he really made it real and even did the ladies lines great too!
I’m very pleased with this book and will probably buy the next one.

Enjoyable
