Sherlock Holmes thrives on danger. Sudden knife attacks, being stalked, and facing a network of assassins present little more than a cheery break in the monotony. But the enigmatic Lady Beatrice presents danger of a different kind. Is she a murderer or a potential victim? Or something even more perilous? Uncovering her secrets could change Holmes's life forever, and in ways even he cannot anticipate. The newly-discovered Holmes diaries shed light on a tale so potent, Watson was never permitted to reveal it.

This has been so different that I enjoyed it greatly and any Sherlock Holmes enthusiast will also enjoy it I have no doubt

The story being narrated by Sherlock Holmes

Very good and sticks to Conan Doyle's characters by and large. What Ms Schear needs to do is write about why ShErlock Holmes suddenly retired in 1904.

I generally enjoyed the story, although I could have done with a bit less of Beatrice as I found her a bit annoying by the end of the book.

The story itself was interesting but the narrator's attempt at an English accent and the erratic pacing of the narration were a little off-putting at times. Otherwise, his voice was pleasant to listen to.

An enjoyable story

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Story is good enough and is written in the first person from Holmes's point of view

What did you like best about this story?

Authentic atmosphere and a different perspective as it's written by Holmes

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Dominic Lopez?

In my opinion there is no finer narrator of Holmes than John Telfor who reads the Donald Thomas books (and the originals). I really don't know where they get these narrators, this guy cannot say his 't's so 'cottage' becomes 'coddage' etc, gets annoying.

Could you see A Biased Judgement being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

No

Any additional comments?

Spoilt by the narrator in my opinion.

Well written Holmes pastiche but oh the narrator..
