I knew some of these already - note some. None of the ones I knew, though, were from any of the tedious history lessons I was forced to sit through at school. They should teach some of this instead of the sanitised crap you get taught now!

I thought it was a great audible book to chill out listening to when I just wanted to relax and not think too much. The narrator puts a funny spin on these facts that are quite savage. I would recommend it.

Great listen! The book's hilarious (yet terrifying, the things the Brits were up to are downright evil, according to the story here), and Mathew Baynton did a fantastic job narrating it!

Reminds me of horrible history for adults, being able to laugh at how frequently we’ve been bellends was entertaining. Great book, listened to in in one sitting. Good narration too, I didn’t like the way he pronounced heinous but if one word in the whole book is my only complaint, it’s probably a sign I enjoyed it 🤷
