Their secret love affair has lasted for decades - but will it last one more summer?

For the last twenty-eight summers, Mallory and Jake have met to rekindle the passionate love affair they began all those years ago. Each married to someone else, with busy lives and happy families, they've managed to keep their secret, and to keep their love alive.

But nothing is forever and when Mallory receives a diagnosis that puts her future in doubt, they must face the possibility that their twenty-eighth summer together also be their last.

This heartbreaking and life-affirming love story will shatter your heart and put the pieces back together. Perfect for fans of Kristin Hannah, Liane Moriarty and Marian Keyes.

PRAISE FOR 28 SUMMERS:
This sweeping love story is Hilderbrand's best ever
Captivating and bittersweet
Elin Hilderbrand is the godmother of beach reads for a reason
Hilderbrand sets the gold standard in escapist fiction
Less a story about a secretive affair and more a tale of sweet nostalgia and fate, this title will be popular with a wide audience.
This poignant novel's blend of nostalgia, romance and escapism is so quintessentially summery you'll expect sand to spill from its pages.

Fabulous

I confess to being a little obsessed with Elin and her books on Nantucket as it is one of my favourite places in the world. In my next life I am coming back as a person who lives there. This book was just another level and had me hooked from the beginning to the end where I shed a tear. My only slight niggle would be when the narrator is voicing some of the men as she exaggerates a tad which can grate but that doesn't take away from the unusual story line. I particularly enjoyed the beginning of each chapter which talked about 'what are we talking about'

The best Elin Hilderbrand so far

Loving the book but Chapter 10 & 13 are repeated so this audio book is missing two chapters :(
