A southern folk tale that explores morality, the weight of humanity, and so much more.
Beau has been cursed by The Mother, a traumatized witch dwelling in the Louisiana swamps. She wants revenge for the sisters who were stolen from her. Beau just wants to go home. The tie between them forces him to make the most difficult decision of his life. As he navigates the swamp in his new body and with waning sanity, Beau finds himself contemplating giving it all up for The Mother. To do her bidding, endure the 101 days of his curse, and go home to her cottage, where he will sacrifice his family and sanity to the beast.
Will Beau complete the shift and become The Mother's to command, or go home forever changed to a family that might not even be there?
