There were stories that stayed with me for days. Others I guess I don't remember the details of, but I certainly don't remember disliking! At one level it is a hundred different stories. But I got a different sense from putting all of them together: the tone, re-emerging concerns, and the way the writer thinks about writing. I guess if you are used to books of micro fiction this would be obvious, but I really enjoyed getting into this.
There is a good variety. Most of the stories were relationship fiction. But there were threads all the way to science fiction (a couple of little riffs on AI).
My only little crinkle: as an audiobook I found it a little easy to miss important things. Some chapters wanted a lot of thinking to process. By which time the reader was two chapters on. It's much harder to control the pace in audio form. I ended up buying the e-book version too. And eventually figured out how to listen and read at the same time.
