Immaculate in its filth, as well as a beautifully empowering story about negotiated kink and the thrill of finding one’s perfect match.

As a first smut book and starting off strong with this one the storyline keeps you hooked and wanting more the main characters are relatable but captivating and their stories coming together is just amazing and leaves you wanting more

I both read the book and listened to the audiobook and WOW — the audio made this experience even better. Absolutely perfect casting and it brought all the chemistry, tension, and emotion to life so well.
This had everything I love in a romance. The MMC was incredible 😭🔥 protective, obsessive, intense, and completely addictive. But the FMC was equally amazing and I loved the dynamic between them so much.
The chemistry in this book was insane and the spice?? HOT. There is a LOT of spice in this book and honestly it was such a good listen on audio 👀🎧🔥
This was a completely new author for me and I picked it up because it was recommended in a book club I’m in — and I am SO glad I did. I was hooked from start to finish and now I absolutely need to read more from this author.
Highly, highly recommend if you love emotional chemistry, addictive characters, and very spicy romance

I was excited to start this book after having it on my TBR for some time, with the comparisons to it being the same dark rom-com vibes as lights out which I loved, I figured id be for a good time! Straight from the start I was locked in, Aaron Shedlock and Amy Hall were fantastic on the narration portraying their characters well. The chemistry, tension and spice delivered. It was fast paced and an easy enjoyable listen with a good balance of suspense and romance and this is a great choice for those who like predator/prey dark rom-com novels. I also liked that Claire got to have her little moment too. For me what I felt was missing was a bit more backstory on the characters, I felt it lacked a little depth, I also felt like it got a little bit repetitive and slightly predictable. The ending felt slightly rushed too. Overall it wasn’t perfect but was still an enjoyable listen and I’ll be listening the next book in the series!

about 4.2 ⭐'s - this came up as a "if you liked Butcher and Blackbird and Lights Out - you'll like this" and yes I did, it didn't make me laugh like those books did but it absolutely had all the same vibes for me, after a few "meh" books this was also a welcome surprise/relief, I read the synopsis and figured I'd be happy with a spicy, easy listen on audiobook, but it was more than just that, I loved Claire and Shane and the overall story, so much so I've already pre ordered the next one.
