"One of the most remarkable new voices in sexy, smart romantic suspense. You need to discover Samantha Cole right now! ~ USA Today Bestselling Romance Author Angel Payne

A single moment was all it took to tear eighteen-year-old Ben's world apart, but a second chance could put it all back together…

Twelve years after losing his first and only love in a devastating accident, Kat emerges from the shadows of the Witness Protection Program. But the men who hunted her family are still searching. The last thing she wants to do is put her high-school sweetheart in danger, but he's the only person she trusts with her life.

Private security specialist Ben is shocked when his evening appointment is a ghost from the past. He knows he can't refuse Kat, but he'll have to let her go when it's over because she deserves better than the hardened man he's become.

When numerous lives are at stake, will Kat survive, or will Ben again have to bury the only woman he's ever loved?

***Fans of Kennedy Layne, Laylah Roberts, and Kallypso Masters will love the passionate romance, nail-biting suspense, and happily-ever-afters of the Trident Security series. It is best listen to in order.

This, the third in the Trident Security series is the story of Boomer and Kat.

As a Dom and a member of the Club, Boomer introduces Kat into the lifestyle. Of course Trident Security also need to save her from a faceless predator.

Lovely to still hear from already known characters.

Another winner

Another intriguing story in this series, packed with angst, emotion, action, tension and some passionate steamy bdsm scenes. Oh and Carter makes a few appearances too *sighs* This time it was Ben (Boomer) and his childhood friend/sweetheart Kat who he thought was lost to him years before.

The male narrator was good and easy to listen to.

I'm really enjoying this series. I love the angst and action, the steam, the dominant but caring and protective nature of the men and the rapport between all the Trident Security team and their allies.

Am looking forward to reading more!

Action, angst, steam, sexy dominant ex navy Seals!

Imagine finding out that your first love is no longer dead! That is exactly what happens to Ben. He never really got over the loss of his first love Kat. Then one day, Kat walks back into his life seeking help. That is only the beginning of the drama filled story. The third installment in this series, and it is different from all the others. Ben gets a second chance with his first love, one that he never thought could happen. Watching as Ben tried to accept what happened and resolve his own internal struggles with it is what makes this story so addicting. I could not put it down. This one really tugged at my heart. It left me wanting more.

Donovan Kane once again, delivers a perfect narration of the Trident boys. He brings out the alpha in them all, but with Ben, Kane is able to bring out his hurt. Kane narrates Ben to pull at heartstrings and bring out all the feels. I really enjoyed this narration and cannot wait for the next book.
