Özet

Elizabeth McCoy is cold to the core. She fears she may drain the life from her warm baker husband, who lives only to please her. There is just something missing - something she’s yearning for deep in her soul...

She just doesn’t know what.

Maybe a fresh start aboard the ship, the Corinthian, to Canada will bring a much-needed thaw. A chance encounter with a gruff sailor stirs Elizabeth’s passion, and she realizes how much she’s been craving her husband’s hands upon her.

Can she convince her gentle giant to knead her in the way he kneads his dough?

Adult romance and a BDSM awakening.

This book is a different to any i've read / listened to before by Tabitha but in my opinion her best to date. You really feel the emotions of the wife, maybe because of how it's described, i'm not sure. What I do know is that I really felt for her. I also liked how her husband saw her indiscretion for what it was and reacted in a way to offer his wife what she needed rather than punish her.

This is pure filth and I loved it. I’m here for it. A couple reigniting their marriage with a mutual love for spanking. It is really hot and spicy, fantastic.

Thank you to Booksprout and Tabitha Rayne for a copy of this for review consideration, all thoughts and feelings presented are my own

Lizzie and James seem to be on very different wavelengths when it comes to the intimacy of their relationship. Lizzie not knowing what she truly needs from her husband until a chance encounter with a sailor who shows her that what she desires is to be dominated.

The spicy scenes were abundant as one would expect, however I found the idea of the wife cheating but never acknowledged was a something that I felt was lacking in the story and really would have made it better if it had been addressed.

Overall it was an enjoyable read, for it’s length, and the audio narration was fantastic.
