You know those books that just attach onto your soul and you just know they will stay with you always.. This was that book for me because there is no rating system that i could use that would be good enough to rate this.
This book broke me and healed me all at once those performance were truly breathtaking and i just cant stop thinking about them how am i suppose to move on ...
Luna has beautiful writing and the way she added so many different layers into her writing and we go on such a journey of healing within in this story was so moving. I never knew that Twilight references could make me feel so seen and understood. Twilight is a comfort for me and the references were just giving me such life everytime.
Issac & Veronicas story is so beautiful yet so heartbreaking and full of deep raw emotion and learning to over come when fate is against you and learning to get back up and keep fighting. I love them so much like sooooo much. Issac is the greenest of green flags and the way that he loved Ronnie was the definition of it’s her and only her. The strength that Ronnie has is so inspiring.
Mia Moreno i think i could listen to her for hours and hours and it still just wouldnt be enough. Not only is her voice so beautiful but they way that she brought Ronnie to life was so out of this world i felt EVERY emotion and i couldn’t just hear the hurt in her performance I felt it! It was such a raw vulnerable performance and one of my absolute favorite performances i have heard this year.
Anthony Palmini was so perfect as Issac he protrayed the yearning to perfection as well as the love Issac has for Ronnie. He also brings the vulnerable side to Issac to perform the hurt and pain that Issac also goes through and making you really feel that.
This is a narrator team I am obsessed with!!
Together these two gave such a beautiful performance that will stay with me .....

Happy ending was definitely hard earned.
The only thing I hate is when books end with pregnancies and kids.. but it’s a personal preference.

Anthony, I love and appreciate your voice and performance so much, but I have to give the star to Mia. She pounded her heart out in this one, and u can feel it, touch the love and the magic. Anthony as Iz was pure perfection, the cadence, intonation, accent, the pronunciation in Spanish- mind-blowing…..
Mia deserved an Oscar! If you think her earlier work was just a fluke, no, this woman is unstoppable!!! And you feel it in every cell, her delivery is intrinsic!!! This is a story where the writing will touch your soul, will reach deep within and make a mess, then will put you back together in Luna style. This is one of those stories that should be on a screen , this book deserves a movie deal!
The writing is rich, with amazing character development, background, and realistic expectations. While this is probably her lightest work, don’t be fooled, the story is still pretty dark, twisted and taboo. So I’ll urge you to read your trigger warnings before diving in.
The chemistry between Isaac and Ronnie, is incendiary, the tension and connection is palpable. Their deep emotional complexity is what shine the most in this story making Luna a brilliant author.
This is a book add to be listened not read!! Masterpiece

Anthony and Mia did such an amazing job narrating this heartbreaking story.
The way they did the voices of the younger versions of Iz and Ronnie is perfection, and the portrayal of all the different emotions was so good, especially the gutteral raw feeling of despair.
I definitely needed tissues and couldn't hold it together.
I loved this story and Anthony and Mia definitely did it justice. 🖤
