Enki Zakanin just wants peace and quiet. He's completed his mission, and on the journey back to the Kordolian Fleet Station, he'd prefer to be left alone so he can manage the literal demon inside his head. Alone.

So when a strange distress call breaks the silence, his first instinct is to ignore the signal. Why would anyone be foolish enough to broadcast an open signal in the Ninth?

My name is Layla dela Cruz. I need your help.

A human? What in Kaiin's Hells is she doing this far into Sector Nine? Now, somehow, he has to go and get her. After all, he's given her his word.

Contains mature themes.

loved the Dark Warriors books, and i am glad the story continues in this series. I enjoy the way each book is a story but the overall story keeps going forward.

Great Story in This Series

I like this story, there is suspense, action, troubled mind, strong female... All good. A little tame on the adult scenes so good intro for some. I like the narrator, just not necessarily during the sex scenes, maybe a little flat then. I would recommend this series.

Great story

I shouldn’t love this book, it’s about aliens, different planets, women falling for strong dominant aliens on different planets. But I loved it!

I was rooting for the main characters, Enki and Layla. It’s an easy listen, and included in the plus catalogue.

Loved it.

Book 2 has a great character story which is very different from the rest of the series so far (including Dark Planet Warriors). Definitely worth reading.

Grumpy misunderstood alien
