They met in the most unlikely place, where death and destruction were just as pronounced as the desert heat that surrounded them. Her voice lured him in, but it was her kind heart and understanding soul that anchored his broken one. She stood for everything he detested; yet, his feelings for her were undeniable. She was the light to his dark. Together, they forged an unbreakable bond. But one fateful night destroyed it all and thrust them into a week of hell, leaving them both scarred inside and out.

Now two years later, Faith returns to Cade's life unexpectedly, and neither of them can deny the fire that still burns between them, along with the pain, loss, and regret. Fate will test their love, and in order to save it, they must face their greatest fears and the past that continues to haunt them.

I can’t tell you the peace and comfort this book brought me ! I’ve listened to the whole series and this book just melts my heart. Beautiful.

My favourite of them all !

Another great story and performance. I just wish the author could have thought of different ways of saying things - the same phrases keep coming up (word for word) in all the books, despite it being different characters saying them! It’s a bit annoying and predictable but doesn’t distract from the enjoyment of the story. I have been listening to them in quick succession therefore am noticing it easily. As always, Teddy Hamilton’s voice is perfection!

My favourite of the series

I would have enjoyed this series more if God hadn’t been a character, especially in book 3, I got eye strain from the amount of times I rolled my eyes, especially at the “sign from god”. Also the sex scenes… they were at it like rabbits regardless of who was in the house. I prefer more story. Great narrators though!

Too much God and sex
